KEITH RICHARDS 1986 to 2004

Our very dear friend and mascot passed away on June 2, 2004.  

He has been with us since 1996 when he was brought in by Animal Control with a mangled rear leg.  He was older (about 10 we thought), street worn and beat up, but he was sweet and kind.  We neutered him, amputated his damaged rear leg, named him after an old rock star, and gave him the run of the clinic.

In his later years he developed many medical problems: diabetes, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, and renal disease.  He was on lots of medications to control these problems, but he never complained and was always purring and begging for treats and love.

We will miss him always.  He was (and is) our very brightest Star!
