Our hospital is committed to providing state-of-the-art veterinary care in a friendly, compassionate atmosphere where the well being of your pet is paramount. Practice owner, Dr. Cliff Gravem, attended the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing at Midtown Animal Clinic since graduating in 1979. He was employed as an assistant and technician throughout his term at veterinary school and purchased Midtown Animal Clinic from the previous owner in 1983. He enjoys all aspects of companion animal medicine and takes a special interest in surgery and ultrasound. In 2003 he completed a prestigious Don Low-CVMA Practitioner Fellowship program in ultrasonography. Dr. Aine Coil is a 1999 graduate of the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and is currently providing medical and surgical care for our clients’ pets. She, also, has been a long-time employee of our clinic prior to receiving her D.V.M. degree. Dr. Melissa Hartinger graduated from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She was employed with us as a veterinary technician throughout her first three years at veterinary school and we are very thrilled to have her back with us as a D.V.M.. Dr. Creslin Schultz, graduated in 2004 from Oregon State and Washington State University. She has interests in behavioral medicine and dermatology, and we are glad to have her with us. Dr. Kim Nguyen, our newest associate, graduated from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Her interests include internal medicine and dermatology. We are a full-service clinic and utilize in-house radiology, ultrasonography, ultrasonic dental scaling and polishing, video otoscope and "Earigator" (for video-assisted ear cleaning), and blood chemistry analysis. Our office hours are as follows: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY 8am to 6pm TUESDAY, THURSDAY 8am to 9pm FRIDAY 8am to 5pm SATURDAY 9am to Noon The doctors see patients on an appointment basis beginning at 9am daily. Routine elective surgeries are scheduled Monday through Friday with check-in time between 8am and 9am. We also offer vaccination-only appointments that are scheduled with one of our technicians. We provide referral information for after-hours and emergency care. If you have an urgent question or an immediate pet emergency when the clinic is closed, phone our regular number, (530) 758-5650, and follow the instructions to leave a message or receive emergency clinic information. |
